Funny 4th of July T-Shirts on Amazon and Zazzle

4TH OF JULY T-SHIRTS FOR YOUR INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY

4th of July is coming up in a couple of weeks! I can't wait for fireworks, watermelon, drinks and relaxing with family and friends. It's my 2nd favorite holiday - because it happens in the summer and you're under no obligation to buy gifts, so it's not as stressful as Christmas. The only holiday I like better is Halloween because of all the candy and creative costumes.

I decided it was about time I showed off some of my 4th of July work here - particularly t-shirts. I've already shown off the party invitations in a post here.

If you're looking for some party shirts, koozies, buttons and more things, check out this collection I made on Zazzle:

I've also expanded to Amazon this year! Don't forget to check out these 4th of July shirts I have for sale there. Here's the latest one - I think it turned out pretty well!

And here are a couple more different versions of this design (that are also available in the Zazzle collection above with your personalized name):

Thanks for stopping in for a look. Have a happy Independence Day!

Great American Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Supplies

CELEBRATE AUGUST 21 2017 WITH THIS FUNNY ECLIPSE PARTY COLLECTION

In case you didn't know yet, most of the United States is in for a treat on August 21st when a total solar eclipse is visible across America. It's being called the "Great American Eclipse" and everyone is eager to travel to a good viewing spot. I can't imagine a more fun time to gather your friends and family together for a party. I usually try to steer clear of designing for occasions that will quickly pass; I prefer designs with more staying power. But I simply couldn't resist making a party collection for the eclipse because it's too exciting. Besides, another eclipse is right around the corner in 2024. So, this set will be relevant again in 7 short years. :)

Without further adieu, here is the collection. It was inspired by pop music. The woman in the design rides the moon as if it's a wrecking ball, as it blocks the Sun from Earth's view. The text says, "It came in like a blocking ball. We couldn't see the Sun at all." I've been obsessed with mid-century modern design lately - particularly Saul Bass's Hitchcock movie posters - so I gave it a fun retro look.

Here is the invitation. It has easy templates for all your party details:

Here are a few more highlights:

Everyone needs a souvenir t-shirt and button

How about a fun poster or banner to welcome your guests

The collection also contains matching products with the retro star pattern, such as leggings and neckties, so you can look spiffy at your party:

There's plenty more! I made paper napkins, plates, cups, hats, magnets, and even a sheet of temporary tattoos. See the whole solar eclipse party collection here.

And if there's a product type you want designed for your party that you don't see in the collection, let me know so I can make it for you. In addition to Zazzle, I can also do custom work for you on Redbubble, Society6 and CafePress.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have fun seeing the eclipse.

Cool, Creative Father's Day Gift Ideas 2017

NEW LIST OF 58 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

Father's Day is coming up fast - on June 18th. I realized I hadn't put together a list of products from my Zazzle stores that make great gifts for dads. So, I organized this collection of 58 ideas:

As it says on the collection page, this list includes unique gifts for all kinds of dads. Themes include sailing, beer, classy monograms, travel, history, fishing, outer space, man caves, photo templates, and a variety of cool phone cases.

These designs are offered on a wider selection of products than the collection shows, too. If you see something you like but want it on a different product or need help customizing, "contact the designer" on one of the product pages - or let me know here - and I'd be happy to help.

You can also check out this list I made last year.
Or this list of gift ideas for men.

Don't forget to check out these Father's Day cards, too.

Have a happy Father's Day!

4th of July Party Invitations with Easy Templates

NEW INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY INVITES

I don't know about you, but I had a fun Memorial Day weekend full of family time, grilled food and sunshine. I was thinking, "How could this be any better?" And the answer was, "It could include fireworks and watermelon." Which is why I'm so excited that the 4th of July is right around the corner. Last year, I made my very first party invitations for Independence Day. Since I had a long list of ideas, I decided to design more this year.

And since you can get these 50% off through Friday, June 2nd 2017 with coupon code ZAZZLEGIFT50 , I thought now was the perfect time to show them here:

These are the ones that I made last year. I did a funny typography design and made it available in a template for a general party and a BBQ:

1. FUNNY 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS / BEER BARBECUE INVITE

There are easy templates to help you add all your party details to the back.

2. Here is the other version:

3. This year, I decided to add more humor, since the Fourth of July is a happy holiday. I knew I wanted to make an invite with an eagle. I decided to go kitschy with this one and overdo all the stereotypes about the holiday. So, here you have a bald eagle holding a beer and a sparkler while riding a bottle rocket and wearing a patriotic headband and legwarmers with a matching "USA" tank top. This eagle is ready to celebrate!

4. I decided to have some fun with George Washington, too. Some George Washing-FUN:

Here is the bash version of this one:

5. Don't Knock It 'Til You Rocket! This one is colorful with lots of fireworks:

6. I knew I wanted to make a retro invitation. It's fun to imagine going to a party during the Mad Men era. I designed this one to look like an invite you might receive in the 50s or early 60s. And yes, the guy is smiling while he holds a lit firework in his hand. People just didn't know the danger back then!

7. Finally, since I love anything associated with the beach, I made this pretty one for a seaside 4th of July party. It can also be for a pool party (you can change the words). I love how the colors turned out on this:

I'm also adding matching party decor, such as paper plates, napkins, cups, coasters and more. You can find those in the "collections" section on the invite product pages. If you still can't find what you're looking for, you can either "contact the designer" on the product pages and let me know what you need or contact me here.

See all my 4th of July and summer party invitations here.

And don't forget to use code ZAZZLEGIFT50 to save 50% through Friday June 2nd 2017.

Have a happy 4th of July!
